The first Gold Rush was here in North Carolina, and we’d like to bring another. At Bearfoot Gold’s property we offer a “west coast claim” style prospecting experience – you bring nearly any equipment you wish to use, setup in almost any spot across the property you wish to use it, and prospect to your hearts content.

Fun

Gold prospecting is a great way to enjoy the company of your friends and family in the great outdoors. The added benefit is finding gold! We’ve intentionally left the property as natural as possible to give our guests a quiet, peaceful place to enjoy themselves in the great outdoors.

Exclusive

That’s right, exclusive. We limit the number of prospectors on the property to around ten total per day. This gives you, our guests, the ability to enjoy the entire property without worrying about crowds. Guests are also given the opportunity to reserve the property privately for themselves and their companions.

Location

Located about an hour from Charlotte, Raleigh, and Fayetteville, we are easily accessible from all of the major highways in North Carolina. Though in a country setting, shopping, lodging, and tourist attractions are all a quick drive from our property.
